| 6L6 USA made = Direct Equivalent of a KT66 |
| If you are looking for valve that's built with passion and all it's ingredients the 6L6 is for sure a superb type of Pentode even wortking at higher HT than a KT66. | We have digged out some CV1947 manufactured by Brimar in the early 50's. Having the brown base you cannot go wrong, tubes are vintage and at their best. The KB/FB printed around the base is synonym of excellent quality. The coating for both valves is still intact. Tubes have been tested with satisfactory results 54 mA. Price left £ 50 each. | As referred above there was a copious batch of KT66 made those days (1945+) by the Marconi/Osram work. Apart for the elegant box and look the Osram was clever enough to produce distinguished valves with ther own mica and inner design. Very simlar to a KT66 GEC but would say more trendy!
